� � � J. Michael Ecoffey, along with
Ms. Lacey is Co-Founder of Rocky Mountain Legal Services.
Mr. Ecoffey is our business workshop coordinator. He
has designed, facilitated workshops and seminars for major
corporations, such as, USWest Communications, USWest,
Inc., Sundance Talent, Inc.,and Walking Eagle Indian
Network, Inc. His designed workshops normally lasted one
week and accommodated 30 to 40 people. Mr. Ecoffey worked
in the motion picture industry for over 14 years. In that
time he served as Public Relations Director for Universal
Pictures on the set of James Michner's 'Centennial'.
Upon graduating from film school at MTI Los Angeles, Mr.
Ecoffey was employed with Embassy Pictures working for
Norman Lear, Jerry Perrenchio, and Michael Manheim. For
several years Mr. Ecoffey studied the aspect of law and
its role in the film industry. Presently his interest in
law is directed into the area of conservation and wildlife.
He has worked with the U.S. Bureau of Sport Fisheries and
Wildlife for many years and developed his knowledge of
wildlife conservation, water law, and environmental issues.
Mr. Ecoffey is an honorably discharged United States Air
Force Veteran - Law Enforcement Specialist and is a member
of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Nation. He has extensive working
knowledge of tribal water rights, and many concerns of how
these rights affect the people living on government Indian
reservations, as well as those that live off the
reservations. Mr. Ecoffey's expertise and deep abiding
respect for all living things is a valuable asset to this
organization. Our clients are extremely happy with the
